On Dec. 7th, TPP negotiators from across the world will begin what could be the final round of negotiations held in the U.S. Since talks began years ago, millions have taken action against the rigged agreement from Malaysia to Peru to Canada, and 10,000 took the streets in New Zealand during a global day of action this November.
We know that the U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman has worked to minimize the extent of U.S. opposition when speaking with fellow negotiators. But as efforts to further the reach of unjust trade continue this week, we’ve got a chance to demonstrate just how widespread U.S. resistance to the TPP is.
Join us as we stand with those protesting corporate colonialism on both sides of the Pacific, demand an end to the secrecy behind the TPP talks, and call on negotiators from all participating countries to RELEASE THE TEXT to the many communities working to protect people and the planet.
Join the resistance in DC, or help us spread the word!

Monday, Dec. 8th
Sit-In to End the Secrecy!
8am, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (600 17th St. NW, Washington, DC)
Join us as sit-in at the site of TPP talks, making sure negotiators know just how seriously we take this threat to communities across the U.S. and across the world.
MASS RALLY outside TPP Negotiations!
12pm, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (600 17th St. NW, Washington, DC)
Hundreds will gather outside the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office to demonstrate to TPP negotiators that we will not stand for a secret agreement threatening everything from wages to access to healthcare. Join those fighting for worker rights, digital freedom, environmental justice, family farms, and more as we raise our voices against unjust trade.
This Monday, we’ll deliver thousands of petition signatures demanding the release of the TPP text. Make sure to add your name, and send an email straight to U.S. Trade Rep Michael Froman. Now is the time to make your voice heard! Help us keep his inbox full as long as negotiations are underway, and spread the word.
