On February 3, 2016, Seattle joined the worldwide day of protest as the TPP was signed in New Zealand!

In Seattle, we rallied in front of City Hall at noon, and then marched down to the Federal Building (4 blocks, downhill) to send the message to our Senators: A vote for TPP is betrayal of democracy and peoples’ movements.

As we in Seattle know, this is not the beginning of the struggle for fair trade policy. And it will not be the end. We will be launching our pledge of action, so get ready to send a message to the world – the 99% stand together.
