Stop the TPP, TTIP, & TiSA
This Fall people across the country will take action to stop the TransPacific Partnership (TPP), and other corporate “trade” agreements, like the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), and the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA). We demand a world based on justice, not greed. Please join or organize an action in your area from October 10-17 and join us in DC from November 14-18. Here is the full schedule.
September 25-28: New York City Events and Actions around the UN Sustainable Development Summit. Actions include numerous educational fora. See the website below for details. All are welcome.
October 10-17: Trade4People Actions Across the United States and the European Union to stop TPP, TTIP, and TiSA. In the US, people are organizing actions in their areas to raise awareness or educate the public about corporate “trade” or to target Congress (members who will be in their home districts) or corporations involved in TPP/TTIP/TiSA. Some people plan to connect their actions/events to other stuff happening during this time like the Peoples Climate Marches on Oct. 14 and the March Against Monsanto on Oct. 16 and 17. November 14-18: National Mobilization in Washington DC to stop the TPP, TTIP, TiSA. From November 14-18 people from across the country and around the world will gather in Washington DC to demand global justice. This is the time where we really need to shake things up.
