Feb. 4, 2016 – The Baltimore community rallied in front of the World Trade Center this evening to protest the Obama administration signing the TransPacific Partnership, TPP. Several dozen people showed up to hold large banners and signs for rush hour traffic to see and handed out hundreds of TPP Occucards.

The rally was organized by Flush the TPP and a local vegan group. Dick Ochs, a retired steelworker whose job was outsourced due to NAFTA, was there and sang his version of “Flush the TransPacific Partnership” (sung to the tune of I’ve been working on the railroad).

Baltimore Congressman Elijah Cummings has not come out strongly against the TPP. His office will be the location of the next TPP action on February 12.
